This is a quick easy table runner or wall hanging to make. You only have to make three star blocks, and the rest is just sewing on triangles cut from squares.
You can use scraps for the stars and use any theme fabric in place of the floral. You only need 1/2 yard of the floral fabric and most of us could find that in our scrap stash!

This pattern is the same as the orginal Emma's Star except there are more stars and the border triangles are of a solid piece of fabric instead of pieced triangles, making it a little easier. I have given new yardage requirements for the added stars.

I know this isn't a quilt and I normally don't sell notions, but I came across this CD-rom and it is wonderful. You print out the foundation paper on your own printer and you can make perfect quarter square triangles, half square triangles and flying geese in any imaginable size. It saves you the extra step of squaring them up and the pieceing goes so fast.
